About

A daily, rules-based energy strategy. It rides oil and natural-gas uptrends, buys dips when the broader commodity backdrop is strong, and quickly shifts to cash or inverse ETFs during selloffs or when prices look overheated.
NutHow it works
1) Check the “tape”: are commodities broadly strong? (COM, a broad‑commodity fund, uses a 0–100 speedometer of recent moves; high=strong.) 2) If strong and energy is trending up (XLE, oil), ride it with bullish funds (incl. GUSH, BOIL); avoid buys if things look “too hot.” 3) If momentum fades or panic hits, flip to cash (BIL) or bearish funds (DRIP, KOLD). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic energy/commodity strategy with regime switching and risk controls. Out-of-sample return ~19.9% vs SPY ~21.6% with OOS Sharpe ~0.69. A diversification-focused complement to the S&P 500, potentially benefiting in inflationary regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
