About

A daily, tactical, tech‑led strategy: ride strong uptrends with 3x tech; hedge or go defensive after euphoric “pops,” during fear spikes, or when drawdowns rise; buy sharp selloff rebounds; otherwise stay in cash‑like T‑Bills. Very aggressive.
NutHow it works
Each day it gauges mood using a “fear” ETF (VIXY/UVXY = VIX futures). If fear rises or the market has a big 1‑day surge (“pop”), it hedges with volatility (UVXY) or inverse tech (TECS/SOXS). If fear fades and trend is up (QQQ above its 25‑day average), it rides tech with 3x ETFs (TECL/SOXL). After big drops, it buys rebounds (TECL or TMF). If drawdowns grow or bonds beat stocks, it parks in T‑Bills (BIL) or goes defensive (BTAL). RSI = hot/cold meter; moving average = trend line; drawdown = peak‑to‑trough fall.
CheckmarkValue prop
Stronger upside with adaptive tech exposure and risk management: out-of-sample annualized return ~27.7% vs SPY ~19.6%, backed by tactical hedges and rebound plays. Note higher drawdowns (~43.7% vs 18.8%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
