A rules-based emerging-markets strategy that shifts daily between normal, lower-volatility, and 3x bullish or bearish positions based on trend, bond-market signals, and short-term overbought/oversold readings.

This strategy makes a daily yes/no decision about emerging markets. It first asks: have emerging-market stocks been trending down over the last ~50 days? If yes, it checks whether emerging-market bonds look stronger or weaker than safer foreign bonds, then may choose regular emerging-market stocks (EEM), a calmer version (EEMV), or aggressive 3x bullish/bearish funds (EDC/EDZ). It also uses a short-term “temperature gauge” (RSI) to spot markets that look overheated or washed out.
