A high-risk timing strategy that rotates between leveraged U.S. stock funds, Treasury bonds, and cash-like T-bills based on market calmness, selloffs, and rebound signals.

This strategy splits money into two halves. One half only takes risk when the U.S. stock market has been calm. Then it buys whichever looks most beaten up: leveraged tech, leveraged Nasdaq, or Treasury bonds. If markets are too jumpy, it hides in short-term Treasuries. The other half changes by market mood. In rough markets, it tries to buy sharp 5-day selloffs in the Nasdaq or S&P 500, but avoids chasing a rebound that already happened. In calmer markets, it holds a high-risk mix of leveraged U.S. stocks and long-term Treasury bonds. If conditions worsen, it moves to T-bills.

Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher growth: ~32% annualized return vs ~21% for the S&P, aided by regime-switching and leverage. Expect larger drawdowns (~38% vs ~19%), but bonds/cash hedges aim to preserve long-run upside.
