A high-risk, rule-based strategy that mixes leveraged tech stock funds with Treasury funds, buying sharp dips in bad markets and owning a leveraged stock/bond mix in better markets.
NutHow it works
This strategy splits money into two halves. One half waits for calm markets, then buys the most beaten-down choice among aggressive tech funds and Treasury bond funds. If markets get too jumpy, it hides in safer Treasury funds. The other half changes personality based on the market. In rough markets, it sits in T-bills unless the Nasdaq or S&P 500 has fallen hard, then it buys the dip with 3x stock funds. In better markets, it holds a mix of leveraged stock funds and leveraged long-term Treasury bonds, but moves to T-bills if stocks suddenly weaken.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
