About

Each week it holds one stock. If mega‑cap Nasdaq leadership looks strong (QQQ outperforming QQQE recently), it buys the strongest of Apple, Nvidia, or Netflix. Otherwise it picks the steadier choice between Eli Lilly and Moderna.
NutHow it works
Rebalances weekly. First it asks: are mega‑cap Nasdaq names leading? It checks if QQQ (cap‑weighted Nasdaq‑100 ETF) beat QQQE (equal‑weight version) on average over ~1 month. If yes, it buys the strongest of Apple, Nvidia, or Netflix (RSI ≈ strength of recent gains). If not, it buys the calmer of Eli Lilly or Moderna (10‑day volatility).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P: ~55% annualized vs ~22%, Sharpe ~1.34 vs ~1.29, Calmar ~1.46. Expect larger drawdowns (~38% vs ~19%), but with meaningful upside and diversification.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
