About
Weekly tactic that gauges mega‑cap leadership by comparing QQQ vs. equal‑weight QQQE. If mega‑caps lead, hold one big tech (MSFT/AAPL/NVDA/META, lowest share price). Otherwise, hold SPY or LLY (lower share price). Repeats weekly.
Each week, it checks which did better recently: QQQ (Nasdaq‑100 dominated by the biggest tech names) or QQQE (the equal‑weighted version). If QQQ is stronger, it buys ONE of MSFT, AAPL, NVDA, or META—the one with the lowest share price. Otherwise, it buys SPY or LLY—again, whichever has the lower share price.
Out-of-sample results show a clear edge: annualized ~63% vs SPY ~21%, Sharpe ~1.42 vs ~1.29, and Calmar ~2.0. Higher risk-adjusted returns with meaningful upside, though drawdowns can be larger in downturns—beats the S&P 500.
