About

A daily, tactical strategy that rides the strongest mega‑cap in hot markets, and otherwise flips among 3× Nasdaq/semiconductor funds or a defensive hedge based on simple overheat/oversold, trend, drawdown, and bond‑stress checks.
NutHow it works
Daily it picks a playbook. If the S&P 500 has been strong, it simply buys the strongest of Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Tesla, or Exxon. Otherwise it rotates among bold Nasdaq/semiconductor funds that move ~3× as much (up or down) or a defensive hedge (BTAL + short Nasdaq). It decides using plain rules: “overheated/oversold” scores, price vs a 25‑day trend line, recent big drops, and bond‑market stress.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~93.7% vs SPY ~23.5%, Calmar ~2.15. Regime-switching strategy trades 3x Nasdaq/semis, mega-cap momentum, or hedges to capture upside while attempting to limit drawdowns vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
