This strategy is a fast-moving trader that mostly bets on tech and semiconductor funds. When the market looks too hot after a sharp rise, it often bets on a drop using inverse semiconductor funds. When tech looks beaten down after a sharp fall, it may buy leveraged tech or chip funds for a rebound. It also checks bond and volatility signals to decide whether to stay aggressive or hide in short-term Treasury bills (cash-like safety).
