About

Aggressive, rules‑based swing system focused on Tech/Semis. It flips between long, short, and cash using RSI (hot/cold), volatility (VIX), trend, and bond signals. Buys dips, fades spikes, steps aside in turmoil. Uses 3x ETFs; high risk/high turnover.
NutHow it works
Daily it reads 3 dashboards: Stocks (RSI/trend on SPY/QQQ/TQQQ), Volatility (VIXY), and Bonds (Treasuries vs T‑Bills). RSI is a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge; low = washed‑out, high = overheated. If fear is low and Tech leads, it buys 3x Tech/Semis (TECL/SOXL) on dips. If fear rises or prices spike, it uses 3x inverse (SOXS/TECS/SQQQ) or parks in T‑Bills (BIL). Bond checks add TMF/TMV and gate risk-on. Usually 1 ETF at a time. K‑1 Free ETFs.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~84.5% vs ~20% for the S&P 500; Calmar ~1.69 and Sharpe ~1.22. Tech/semis strategy uses rules-based hedges and bond overlays to chase big upside with risk controls—drawdowns can approach 50% in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
