About

A fast, rules‑based swing strategy in 3× tech/semis ETFs. It fades overheated spikes, buys sharp dips, rides uptrends with TQQQ, and hides in a 60% T‑bill + 40% SQQQ hedge when risk is high. Very high risk and frequent switches.
NutHow it works
It rotates among: TQQQ (3× up Nasdaq‑100), SOXL/TECL (3× up semis/tech), SOXS/SQQQ (3× down semis/Nasdaq), or 60% BIL (T‑bills) + 40% SQQQ. It checks a “heat” gauge (RSI: high=hot, low=cold), recent TQQQ drops, a simple QQQ trend, and bond strength. Hot → short semis (SOXS). Deep selloff → buy SOXL/TECL or hedge. Normal, trend up → TQQQ; else the BIL+SQQQ hedge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this regime-driven rotation of leveraged tech/semis with hedges targets bigger upside: ~38% annualized vs SPY ~21%, Calmar ~1.06. Higher upside and active risk controls, but larger drawdowns—best for risk-tolerant, trend-followers.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
