About

A daily, rules‑based tech rotation that shifts among cash (BIL), QQQ, Apple/Tesla income funds (APLY/TSLY), bullish bounces (TECL), or simple hedges (AAPD/TSLS). In sharp selloffs it can short semiconductors (SOXS). Uses leveraged/inverse ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily. First, if tech just plunged (>13% in 6 days) it goes into panic mode: may short semiconductors (SOXS, 3x inverse) or pick the most beaten‑down Apple/Tesla path. In normal times it: parks in T‑Bills (BIL) when markets look too hot; buys a quick bounce (TECL, 3x tech) when washed‑out; otherwise holds Apple/Tesla income funds (APLY/TSLY) unless signals favor simple shorts (AAPD/TSLS). If nothing special, it holds QQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~28.3% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.04 and positive risk-adjusted profile. Dynamic tech-rotation with hedges aims for bigger upside while balancing risk—potentially meaningful alpha vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
