About

Daily, rules-based tech rotation. Overheated market → cash or short semis; oversold → 3× tech. Otherwise rotate among Apple/Tesla income (APLY/TSLY) or bearish (AAPD/TSLS) ETFs using simple risk cues, chosen across multiple lookback windows.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads a “hot/cold” score (RSI) on the Nasdaq. If it’s extremely hot, it parks in T‑Bills or briefly shorts chip stocks (SOXS). If it’s very cold, it buys 3× tech (TECL). Otherwise it builds an equal‑weight mix of Apple‑ and Tesla‑linked ETFs: either income funds (APLY/TSLY) or bearish funds (AAPD/TSLS) based on simple risk cues (Treasuries vs inverse QQQ). It picks versions across 14–42 days that were most beaten‑up or most volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~27.6% vs SPY ~23%, with Calmar ~1.01. A tech-heavy, regime-switching strategy aims for higher upside using tactical hedges; drawdowns can be larger (~27%), suitable for volatility-tolerant, growth-seeking investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
