About

A daily, tech‑tactical strategy that fades overheated rallies, buys sharp dips, and otherwise rotates between Apple/Tesla income ETFs or 1x inverse hedges using bond‑vs‑Nasdaq cues. Uses leverage sparingly (TECL/SOXS), parks in cash at extremes, and selects one sleeve across 2–6 week filters.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks how “hot” or “cold” Tech looks. - If Tech looks too hot or spikes, it briefly bets against semiconductors (SOXS) or parks in cash (BIL). - If Tech looks washed‑out, it buys a leveraged Tech fund (TECL). - Otherwise it toggles between Apple/Tesla income ETFs (APLY/TSLY) or simple 1x inverse hedges (AAPD/TSLS) based on bond‑vs‑Nasdaq signals. It picks one sleeve across several 2–6 week views.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~27.6% annualized return vs S&P ~23%; Calmar ~1.01 signals solid risk-adjusted upside, but expect higher drawdowns (~27% vs ~19%) due to tech tilt and hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
