About
Rules-based, multi-asset portfolio: 65% rides strong trends across stocks, bonds, gold, commodities, cash, and the dollar; 30% buys big‑tech dips or rotates defensive. Uses some 2x ETFs for extra punch while sizing risk dynamically.
65% rides the top 2 trends among: SSO=2x S&P 500, TLT=long Treasuries, GLD=gold, SHV=T‑bills (cash‑like), DBC=commodities, UUP=U.S. dollar.
30% is tactical: if QQQ (big tech) plunges, it either buys the dip when very oversold or shifts to a safer mix (gold/bonds/dollar). If bonds plunge, it uses a defensive mix (gold/dollar/stocks). In calm times, it splits between long bonds and 2x tech (QLD).
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted return (Sharpe 1.59 vs 1.48), lower drawdown (10.3% vs 18.8%), lower beta (~0.67), Calmar 2.17. Diversified, rules-based trend + tactical overlay aims for steadier upside vs the S&P 500.
