About

One-ETF, regime-switching. Uses bond trend and Nasdaq short-term momentum to toggle between leveraged tech, defensive bonds/anti-beta, or energy. Picks the recent laggard (or lower-vol in energy) to bet on mean reversion. K-1–free ETFs only.
NutHow it works
1) If TLT (long-term Treasuries) is above its 150-day average: - If QQQ’s 5-day avg > 21-day avg, buy the recent laggard of TQQQ/TECL/SOXL (leveraged tech/semis). - Else buy the recent laggard of BTAL/TMF/TYD (anti-beta/leveraged bonds). 2) If TLT isn’t above, buy the lower-vol of XLE/XOP (energy). Hold one ETF; trade on signal changes or >5% drift.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~37.6% annual return, ~24.9% max drawdown, Calmar 1.51, Sharpe ~0.96. SPY: ~21.5% return, ~18.8% drawdown, Sharpe ~1.29. Higher upside with regime-driven exposure and disciplined risk controls—aims to outperform the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
