This strategy is a market “traffic cop” that is always 100% in just one fund. First it looks at long-term U.S. Treasury bonds (TLT). If bonds are doing well, it next checks whether big tech (QQQ) is in a short-term uptrend. If yes, it buys one aggressive 3x tech fund; if not, it buys one defensive fund tied to bonds or a market hedge. If bonds are not doing well, it avoids tech and shifts to energy, choosing the steadier of two energy funds.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
