About
A daily switcher among TQQQ (ride tech uptrends), SQQQ/SOXS (bet against Nasdaq/semis when overheated or weak), and BTAL (defensive). It uses recent % moves, RSI “heat,” trend vs a 25‑day average, and stock‑vs‑bond momentum to decide.
Trades one ETF daily: TQQQ (3x Nasdaq up), SQQQ/SOXS (3x short Nasdaq/semis), or BTAL (defensive: long safer stocks, short high‑beta).
Overheated? If TQQQ’s RSI>79 (RSI=0–100 heat), go SOXS.
Crash? If TQQQ fell >13% in 6 days: fade huge up‑days with SOXS; buy TQQQ if very cold (RSI<32); else SQQQ.
Else: after a sharp recent drop, use BTAL; if QQQ above its 25‑day average, TQQQ; else use stock‑vs‑bond strength to pick.
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for ~26.6% annualized return vs ~23.2% for the S&P, with a Calmar around 0.85 and regime hedges. Captures tech upside in uptrends while offering defensive protection in stress—accepts higher drawdowns.
