About

Tries to ride Bitcoin and high‑beta tech when trends are up, but flips to hedges (inverse funds, volatility, or cash) when markets look overheated or stressed. Uses simple “hot/cold” and trend gauges (RSI, moving averages). Aggressive and high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily the strategy chooses: 1) Short Bitcoin (BITI) if a Bitcoin fund is “too hot” (RSI>90). 2) Ride a BTC uptrend: if a 2x BTC fund is above its 20‑day average, own the strongest of COIN, a 1.5x COIN fund (CONL), a miner (BITF), or 2x BTC (BITX). 3) Else run a stocks/bonds playbook: in calm uptrends hold fast‑rising tech/growth (e.g., TQQQ/TECL/SOXL); when stress rises, rotate to inverse funds, VXX, or cash (BIL). Signals use RSI (0–100 hot/cold), moving averages (trend), and volatility flags. Daily rebalance. Uses 2x/3x funds—high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~47% annualized return vs S&P ~22%, driven by crypto/tech momentum and regime hedging. Higher upside, but severe drawdowns (~80%) can occur in stress. Suited for high-risk, risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
