About

Rules-driven, RSI-based switch. If volatility surges, hide in a long‑USD fund. Otherwise, compare stock strength vs Utilities, then buy the 2 “coolest” picks from a list of equity/bond ETFs—or, if Treasuries are unusually weak, a 3x long‑Treasury fund. High risk due to leverage.
NutHow it works
RSI is a simple “speed/heat” gauge of recent price moves (high = hot). Steps: 1) If fear jumps (VIXM, a volatility fund) has 14‑day RSI > 70, hold USDU (long U.S. dollar). 2) Else if stocks (SPY) look stronger than Utilities (XLU) on 6‑month RSI, pick the 2 “coolest” (lowest 21‑day RSI) from: SPXL/UPRO=3x S&P, SOXL=3x semis, TECL=3x tech, AGG=bonds, BSV/SHY=short‑term bonds. 3) Else if long Treasuries (TLT) are weaker than broad bonds (AGG), buy TMF (3x long Treasuries); otherwise repeat step 2.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, RSI-driven strategy hedging to USD on spikes and rotating among leveraged equity/bond bets. Out-of-sample: ~18.4% annualized return with diversification and risk controls versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
