About

An active, rules-based rotation: hedge market “pops” with UVXY, ride strong trends with 3x tech/QQQ funds, and hide in Treasuries/cash/gold or inverse ETFs when stress rises. Many short-term signals; high turnover and high risk.
NutHow it works
Checks the market's temperature daily: are stocks overheated or plunging, is fear rising, are bonds strong or weak, and are defensive sectors leading? If things look too hot or fear jumps, it buys a fear hedge (UVXY: tends to rise when volatility spikes). If momentum is healthy, it rotates into fast-growth funds (TECL/TQQQ/SOXL: 3x tech/QQQ/semis). When stress builds, it prefers safety (BIL: T-bills, TMF: long Treasuries, GLD/UUP) or even inverse funds (SQQQ/TECS). Picks one by recent strength.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample track record beats the S&P on risk-adjusted returns: ~74% annualized vs ~22%, Sharpe ~1.64 vs ~1.41, Calmar ~2.51. Uses tactical hedges and regime switching to chase gains and limit losses. Note: drawdowns can be larger in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
