About
An aggressive, rules-based swing strategy. It fades overheated tech/semis (using UVXY or inverse funds) and buys them after selloffs (using leveraged bulls). Bond and volatility signals toggle between risk‑on bets and safety (Treasuries, gold, cash‑like). High risk, frequent trades.
It’s a rulebook that watches for short‑term extremes.
- If tech/semis look “hot” (a momentum gauge called RSI is very high), it bets on a pullback using volatility funds like UVXY or inverse ETFs.
- If they look “cold” (RSI very low), it buys leveraged tech/semis (TECL/SOXL) for a rebound.
- Bond and “fear index” checks decide whether to stay risk‑on or move to Treasuries, gold, commodities, or cash‑like T‑bills.
Out-of-sample upside: ~79% annual return vs SPY ~22.5%, Sharpe ~1.51 vs 1.41, Calmar ~2.23. Accept higher drawdowns (~35% vs ~19%) for faster, disciplined tech/volatility upside.
