About

Daily, rules-based strategy centered on the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ). It rides uptrends (sometimes with 2x QLD), shifts to Treasuries or cash when moves look overdone, and can short QQQ/semiconductors during selloffs or overheated spikes.
NutHow it works
Daily checks: trend (price vs 20- & 200-day averages), speed (RSI = a score of recent ups vs downs), and recent % moves. In healthy uptrends it owns QQQ; after sharp dips it may use 2x QLD. If stretched up, it parks in Treasuries or briefly shorts semis. If trends break or drops are big, it shifts to Treasuries/cash or inverse QQQ (PSQ/QID). It uses TQQQ (3x QQQ) only to spot extremes.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this Nasdaq-100 strategy offers higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500: about 38% annualized vs 23% for SPY, with Sharpe ~1.22 and Calmar ~1.65, aided by adaptive hedges. Note: drawdowns can be larger in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
