About

A rule‑driven, high‑octane strategy that shorts or fades Bitcoin when it’s hot, rotates long/short in ARK and semis, and hedges with the dollar, bonds, commodities, gold or VIX using simple heat/trend/volatility signals. Uses leveraged ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
It splits between 1) Bitcoin and 2) high‑growth tech (ARK/semis). It reads four dials: heat (RSI, 0–100), trend (price vs moving average), momentum (recent % change) and volatility. Bitcoin: when BTC looks hot or weak, it shorts via BITI; on snap‑backs it may buy MicroStrategy (MSTR). If unclear, it uses the US dollar (USDU), cash‑like T‑bills (BIL), commodities (PDBC) or semis (SOXL). Tech: it flips between 2x long ARK (TARK) and short ARK (SARK), and between semis long (SOXL) or short (SOXS). Bond signals act as a “vote” on risk; if they say risk‑off, it plays defense. In extremes (SPY very hot/cold), it may use VIX funds (UVIX/UVXY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher upside vs SPY: ~39.5% annualized return vs 22.3%, via Bitcoin/ARK/semis rotations and macro hedges. Note higher risk: drawdowns ~39% vs ~19% and Sharpe ~0.94 vs ~1.40, but growth potential is stronger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
