About

A fast, rule-based swing strategy that trades Bitcoin and high‑beta tech. It flips between long and short and uses bond and dollar trends plus market “heat” to decide when to hedge with VIX, gold, or cash.
NutHow it works
Simple idea: ride big moves, hedge when heat is high. - Bitcoin: if its “hotness” score is high, short it (BITI); if weak but not extreme, sometimes use MicroStrategy (MSTR) or step aside. - Innovation/tech: flip between leveraged long (TARK, SOXL) and short (SARK, SOXS). - Guardrails: bonds and the US dollar, plus S&P ‘overheated/oversold’ checks, decide when to use VIX hedges, gold, or cash (BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: about 40.5% annualized return, Sharpe ~0.96, Calmar ~1.03, with up to 39% drawdown. Dynamic hedges and crypto/tech swings aim for bigger upside with smarter risk vs. the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
