Each day it checks simple trends: Is the S&P 500 rising? Is the Nasdaq weak or healthy (RSI is a 0–100 gauge of recent price strength)? Are long Treasuries and the U.S. dollar trending? A TIP vs STIP check is a “weather report.” It then holds one pick: in good times, tech leaders (Nasdaq/semis: QQQ/ONEQ/SMH; sometimes 2× QLD/SSO). In bad times, it shifts to a strong U.S. dollar (USDU), market‑neutral BTAL, or commodities (PDBC, oil OILK, materials XLB, gold miners GDXJ).
