This strategy checks the market every day and moves into whichever area looks strongest or safest. First it asks: is the U.S. stock market healthy? If yes, it picks the strongest recent trend among the S&P 500, semiconductor stocks, or a defensive/macro mix. If the market looks weak, it rotates into areas like energy, staples, value stocks, or that same defensive mix. In one special case—when tech has fallen hard—it buys technology for a rebound. The defensive mix can shift into the U.S. dollar, a hedged stock fund, commodities, oil, materials, gold miners, bonds, or even leveraged stock funds, depending on market trends.

Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers 43.8% annualized return vs 21.4% for the S&P, Sharpe 1.51 vs 1.35, drawdown 16.98% vs 18.76%, Calmar 2.58, beta ~1.08. Dynamic rotation seeks growth with controlled risk.
