A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A fast, rules-based strategy that rotates among growth (tech/semis, ARK), energy, bitcoin, and gold/silver, dialing risk up or down with simple trend and hot/cold signals, and hedging with cash/bonds, the dollar, or volatility when markets turn.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based trader. First it checks “market weather” using fear/volatility and bond signals. If risk-on, it rides tech/semis and energy uptrends with boosted funds; if risk-off, it flips to inverse funds, cash/T‑bills, or volatility. Separately, it buys or shorts bitcoin, and buys or shorts gold/silver after big one‑day moves. A strong‑dollar rule adds a USD hedge. Signals use RSI (0–100 hot/cold gauge) and moving‑averages (trend).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ≈40.7%/yr vs S&P ≈22.7%, with Calmar ≈1.13 and a diversified multi-sleeve rotation (tech/ARK, energy, crypto, gold, USD hedges). Higher upside with risk-managed hedging—note drawdowns can be larger in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
