About

A fast, rules-driven rotation. In calm uptrends it rides leaders (leveraged semis/tech, energy). When markets look overheated or shaky, it flips to hedges (short tech, volatility fund) or parks in T‑Bills. Separate gold/silver “buy dips/short spikes” and a crypto sleeve that shorts bitcoin when overheated.
NutHow it works
Think of a rules-based switchboard. It watches: 1) a speedometer-like gauge (RSI, 0–100) and simple trend lines (moving averages), 2) market volatility, 3) very big 1‑day moves in gold, silver, and bitcoin. If mood is good and calm, it rides leaders (semiconductors/tech, energy) using leveraged funds. If markets look overheated or weak, it flips to hedges (short tech, a volatility fund), or parks in T‑Bills/short Treasuries. A metals sleeve buys gold/silver dips or shorts spikes. A crypto sleeve shorts bitcoin when it runs too hot. It can shift quickly; no fixed rebalance date.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~33% vs S&P ~22%, with Calmar ~1.14, signaling strong risk-adjusted upside. A rules-based rotation across leaders, hedges, gold/energy, USD and crypto aims for higher alpha than the S&P while managing drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
