A quarterly strategy that uses the bond market as a traffic light: when conditions look good, it buys aggressive leveraged stock funds; when conditions worsen, it rotates into defensive sectors, bonds, gold, and hedges.

Every 3 months, the strategy asks: are regular bonds doing better than Treasury bills? If yes, it goes aggressive and buys 4 beaten-down funds from a high-octane list: semiconductors, tech, the Nasdaq, the S&P 500, financials, and long-term bonds. If no, it turns defensive. It then checks whether long-term bonds are also weak. If they are, it mixes long bonds with hedges like falling-stock funds, rising-volatility funds, energy, and staples. If not, it prefers safer areas like staples, health care, short-term bonds, gold, and sometimes long bonds.
