About

A rules‑based, K‑1‑free “all‑weather” portfolio that shifts daily among tech‑heavy stocks, bond hedges, and commodities. It uses simple heat/trend/fear gauges to add leverage in calm uptrends and rotate to shorts/defensives when risk spikes.
NutHow it works
Every day it reads the market’s “mood” using simple tools: trend (price vs its average), a heat gauge (RSI: 0–100), and a fear gauge (VIX via VIXY). - Stocks: Own Nasdaq (QQQ/TQQQ) when trend is up and not overheated; switch to hedges/shorts (PSQ/SQQQ, SOXS, BTAL) on spikes or drops. - Bonds: When yields fall, own long Treasuries (TLT/TMF). When yields rise, hedge (TMV), hold short‑term Treasuries, strong USD, staples. - Commodities: Small momentum sleeve (PDBC, GDX). Rebalances/switches daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this all-weather, rules-based strategy delivers ~42% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P, with smaller drawdowns (~12% vs ~19%) and strong risk-adjusted upside from diversified exposure across stocks, bonds, and commodities.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
