About

A rule‑based, K‑1‑free “All‑Weather” that rides Nasdaq (TQQQ) and long Treasuries (TMF) in good trends, but flips to hedges (PSQ/SQQQ/BTAL), USD, short‑term Treasuries, and commodity/gold tilts when fear or rising‑rate signals appear. Daily, tactical, uses leverage.
NutHow it works
It’s a dynamic “All‑Weather” approach split into three sleeves: stocks, bonds, and commodities. Stocks: ride QQQ (via TQQQ, a 3x version) when the trend is strong; flip to hedges (PSQ/SQQQ), market‑neutral (BTAL), or semis bear (SOXS) when fear spikes or prices look overheated. Bonds: hold TMF (3x long Treasuries) when rates fall; switch to TMV/USDU or short‑term Treasuries (SHY/SHV) when rates rise or bond volatility is high. Commodities: rotate to recent winners (PDBC, GDX). Uses RSI (a speed/overbought gauge), trends, and a VIX‑based fear switch. Rebalanced daily. K‑1 free.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this dynamic All-Weather strategy targets higher long-run returns with better downside control vs the S&P 500: oos annualized return ~44.8% vs ~24.1%; oos max drawdown ~12.3% vs ~18.8%; Calmar ~3.64, plus disciplined risk-switching and leverage.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
