About

A daily‑rebalanced, high‑risk blend: 50% defensive crash‑catcher (mostly short bonds, rare UVXY surges) plus 50% tactical 3× S&P/Nasdaq engine that buys dips or runs a 3× stocks/3× bonds mix in calm markets, and hides in T‑Bills when choppy.
NutHow it works
Portfolio split: 50% “crash catcher,” 25% V4 engine, 25% V5 engine. Crash catcher sits in short bonds (BSV) most of the time; if SPY is below its 200‑day average and the market looks overheated, it briefly holds UVXY (a volatility spike play). V4/V5 tactically choose 3x S&P (UPRO) and/or 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ), sometimes with 3x Treasuries (TMF), when markets are calm or after sharp 5‑day drops. If choppy/weak, they park in T‑Bills (BIL). RSI = 0–100 strength score.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~30.7% vs S&P 22.3%, via a risk-managed 50/50 blend of crash-hedge and levered growth. Higher upside with built-in hedges (T-bills/UVXY) and a Calmar ~1.10; expect up to ~28% drawdowns in choppy markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
