About

A fast, tactical swing strategy in 3x tech/semiconductor ETFs. Uses “heat” gauges (RSI) and bonds‑vs‑stocks to flip between buy‑the‑dip, trend shorts, and a defensive basket. Aims to capture big moves; very high risk. All ETFs are K‑1‑free.
NutHow it works
Goal: catch big swings in tech/semis with 3x ETFs, sometimes bet against them. It watches a simple “heat” gauge (RSI: 0=cold/oversold, 100=hot/overbought) on the S&P 500 and compares bonds vs stocks. Very hot → lean short; very cold → seek rebounds, but only if bond signals agree. Otherwise it either buys the dip in 3x tech/semis or shifts to a defensive mix (bonds, inverse funds, or calmer sectors). Uses only 1099 ETFs (no K‑1).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~76% vs S&P ~20%; Sharpe ~1.23; Calmar ~1.69. Strong upside in tech/semis with tactical hedges and 1099 ETFs. Higher drawdown (~45% vs ~19%), but offers bigger, faster gains when risk signals align.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
