About

Active, rules‑based trader of leveraged tech/semiconductor ETFs: rides uptrends, flips short when overheated, and parks in cash/bonds or hedges after sharp drops. Uses simple “heat” gauges and bond checks. Very high risk; not buy‑and‑hold.
NutHow it works
It trades a few ETFs fast. Main longs: TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), TECL (3x tech), SOXL (3x semis). Hedges: SQQQ (−3x Nasdaq), SOXS (−3x semis). Safety: BIL (T‑bills), TMF (3x long Treasuries). It reads “heat” (RSI = a hot/cold meter), simple trend lines, and bond‑market checks. In uptrends it rides TQQQ/TECL/SOXL. If things get too hot it flips to SOXS. After big drops it buys dips only if bonds look stable; else it parks in T‑bills with some SQQQ or uses TMF/US dollar.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~54% annualized return vs SPY ~21.5%; Calmar ~1.20 indicates solid risk-adjusted gains. Uses bond/cash hedges to navigate larger drawdowns (45% vs 19%). Upside shines when tech/semis lead.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
