About

A fast, tactical system that flips between aggressiveness and defense using leveraged tech/semiconductor ETFs, inverse hedges, and cash‑like T‑bills. It buys short‑term losers for rebounds when conditions are ok, and hedges or sits tight when risk rises.
NutHow it works
It’s a short‑term, rule‑based trader. First, it checks if the market is above/below a short trend. If weak, it plays defense (cash‑like T‑bills and inverse/short ETFs). If firm, it plays offense by buying one aggressive ETF (often tech/semis/small‑caps), usually the recent loser for a bounce. It constantly reads a “heat” gauge on a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ), bond signals, and volatility. When things look too hot or crashy, it flips to a semiconductor bear (SOXS) or a 60% cash‑like + 40% Nasdaq‑hedge mix.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 48.75% vs S&P 20.94%; Calmar 1.54. Drawdowns ~31.7% are higher, but tactical tech/semis bets with hedges and cash-like buffers deliver stronger upside with disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
