About
Rules-based, tech-heavy swing strategy that flips among TQQQ/QQQ/PSQ/SQQQ. Uses trend, RSI (overbought/oversold), and fear/credit checks to ride Nasdaq uptrends and turn defensive or short when risk rises. Uses leveraged ETFs; high risk.
Goal: ride Nasdaq uptrends, defend or short when risk rises.
Main positions: TQQQ (3x long Nasdaq), QQQ (regular), PSQ/SQQQ (short Nasdaq).
It checks:
- Trend: SPY (S&P 500) and TLT (Treasuries) vs long moving averages.
- RSI (0–100; >70 hot, <30 cold) on SPY/TQQQ for overbought/oversold.
- Fear: UVXY (volatility ETF) spikes.
- Cross‑checks: bonds (BIL vs IEF), dollar (UUP), commodities (DBC), semis (SOXL).
Chooses one ETF at a time; minimal rebalancing.
Nasdaq-focused, rules-based strategy using leveraged ETFs to ride uptrends and defend during risk spikes. Out-of-sample: ~64.5% annual return vs ~25% for the S&P; Calmar ~1.70 vs ~1.34—stronger risk-adjusted upside, with higher drawdowns.
