A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A fast, rule-based strategy that tries to beat the S&P 500 by loading up on leveraged Nasdaq in uptrends, hiding in cash/bonds in selloffs, and using volatility funds as crash insurance when fear spikes. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily it asks: Is market fear rising (a VIX-based “fear gauge”)? If yes, it runs a crash-catcher that flips between crash insurance (UVXY), cash-like T‑bills (BIL), or buy‑the‑dip in a triple‑speed Nasdaq fund (TQQQ). If fear is calm, it follows trend rules: in uptrends hold mostly TQQQ with some short Treasuries (SHY); in choppy/down markets, rotate to low‑vol stocks (SPLV) plus bonds (AGG) or even short tech (SQQQ).
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-led, crash-hedged strategy aiming to beat SPY. Out-of-sample: ~32.6% annualized return vs ~22.8% for SPY, with ~48% max drawdown vs ~19%. Higher upside, higher risk—best for growth-seeking, risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
