About

Daily switcher that reads a fear gauge and simple trend/overbought signals to toggle among leveraged tech (TQQQ), volatility spikes (UVXY), short tech (SQQQ), low‑vol stocks (SPLV), and cash‑like/bond ETFs (BIL, SHY, AGG) to pursue growth while managing shocks.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a fear gauge (VIXM). If fear is rising, it either hides in cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL), buys volatility (UVXY), or buys a quick tech rebound (TQQQ=3x Nasdaq) using simple overbought/oversold, drawdown, and trend tests. If fear is calm, it rotates among: aggressive tech (90% TQQQ+10% SHY), defensive stocks+bonds (SPLV+AGG), or short tech (SQQQ) based on recent 5‑day moves and 50/200‑day trends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~31.2% annualized return vs 22.2% for the S&P, driven by regime switching and selective leverage. Expect higher drawdowns (~48% max) in stress, but potential for stronger growth when regimes stay favorable.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
