About

Rules-based swing strategy using leveraged ETFs. Rides uptrends, buys short-term dips, and quickly switches to hedges (inverse ETFs, Treasuries, USD) when danger or volatility spikes. Includes a UVXY “black swan” safety net.
NutHow it works
It’s a traffic‑light system. First it checks trend: are stocks healthy and are interest rates rising or falling? In uptrends, it holds 1–2 fast‑moving funds (tech, semis, S&P) that just dipped for a bounce. In stress, it flips to hedges (inverse QQQ/S&P, long Treasuries, US dollar). In euphoria or big one‑day surges, it adds UVXY as crash insurance.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rules-based leveraged strategy rides uptrends, buys dips, hedges with inverses/Treasuries/USD, and uses UVXY for crash protection. OOS return ~39.7% vs SPY ~23.6%; higher upside, but ~50% drawdowns in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
