About

Daily, rules-based rotation. Rides the strongest 3x stock ETFs in calm uptrends; shifts to defenses (inverse stock funds, USD, gold, staples, T‑bills) when stocks overheat or drop, and toggles 3x bond exposure with rate trends. Includes a VIX-based crash hedge.
NutHow it works
It watches two dashboards: stocks (SPY) and long‑term Treasuries (TLT). If stocks are calm/not overheated, it rotates into a few of the strongest 3x stock ETFs. If stocks are overheated or falling, it adds hedges: inverse stock funds, US dollar (UUP/USDU), gold (GLD), staples (XLP), and T‑bills (SHV). TLT’s trend picks TMF (3x long bonds) when rates fall or TMV (3x short bonds) when rates rise. A “crash‑hedge” can buy UVXY during extreme moves. RSI here is a simple 0–100 “too hot/too cold” gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-switching, rules-based strategy that rides top 3x bulls in calm markets and shifts to defenses (inverse ETFs, USD, gold, T-bills) when risk rises. OOS: ~19.8% annualized vs SPY ~20.8%, but with higher drawdown—strong diversification and risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
