About

Rules-based, daily‑rebalanced switch between U.S. stocks (often Nasdaq‑tilted, sometimes 2x) and defenses (long USD, anti‑beta, commodities). Bond and dollar trends plus a TIP vs STIP “weather” gauge drive the moves, using K‑1‑free commodity funds.
NutHow it works
Daily, it toggles between offense and defense using trend checks. - If long bonds (TLT) and big tech (QQQ) trend up, and TIP beats STIP (inflation‑protected Treasuries): buy stocks via QLD/SSO or SMH/QQQ. Otherwise hold USDU (strong USD) + BTAL (stock hedge). - If bonds trend down: if USD (UUP) is rising, rotate among USDU, PDBC (commodities), OILK (oil), XLB (materials), GDXJ (gold miners), picking the calmer pair; else hold QQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample gains with lower drawdown and beta vs the S&P 500. Returns are near-SPY, but with stronger downside protection and Calmar-backed risk control from a daily, rules-based mix of stocks, bonds, USD and commodities.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
