About

Rides Nasdaq‑100 uptrends with TQQQ, but when RSI or VIX signals say “too hot/jumpy,” it hedges or flips to inverse/defensive funds (PSQ/SQQQ/BTAL/VXX). A bond‑vs‑tech signal decides when to go risk‑off. Daily rebalanced.
NutHow it works
Daily, rules-based tech tilt. It prefers TQQQ (a 3x fund tied to the Nasdaq‑100) when things are calm. It uses RSI (a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent price moves): if TQQQ/semis look overheated, or if volatility (VIX funds VIXY/VIXM) jumps, it rotates to safer picks—QQQ (no leverage), PSQ/SQQQ (rise when Nasdaq falls), BTAL (defensive), VXX (volatility), or SOXS (bearish semis). A bond‑vs‑tech check (IEF vs PSQ) decides risk‑on vs defensive mix. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical Nasdaq-100 strategy delivers ~71% annualized return vs ~24% for the S&P, with Sharpe ~1.59 and Calmar ~1.82. It uses TQQQ in calm markets and rapid hedges (PSQ/SQQQ/VXX) when heat rises.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
