A fast-changing offense/defense strategy that shifts between aggressive tech, bonds, defensive sectors, oil, the dollar, and even bearish funds based on short-term market strength and long-term trend.

This strategy constantly asks: is the market too hot, too weak, healthy, or dangerous? If stocks—especially tech—look overheated, it moves into long-term US government bonds. If tech looks badly beaten down, it may buy the dip using aggressive tech funds. In mixed conditions, it blends defensive assets like consumer staples, short-term Treasury funds, oil, or the US dollar. In clearly bad markets, it can even use funds that go up when stocks fall.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
