About

Bond-trend switch. Risk ON: JEPI income + 3x high‑beta stocks and either long bonds or calm‑market bets. Risk OFF: keep JEPI and rotate into defensive stocks, gold, managed futures, and rate/volatility hedges.
NutHow it works
Each day it compares 10‑day trends of BND (owns bonds) vs TBX (shorts bonds). If BND > TBX → Risk ON; else Risk OFF. Risk ON: 30% JEPI (income US stocks), 47% HIBL (3x high‑beta stocks), 23% TMF (3x long Treasuries) or SVXY (short volatility) — buys whichever fell more lately. Risk OFF: 30% JEPI, 50% of BTAL (defensive stocks) or UGL (2x gold) or SVXY, plus 20% of DBMF (managed futures) or TMV (3x short Treasuries) or VIXM (long volatility) — again buys the most sold‑off.
CheckmarkValue prop
Potential for higher growth: out-of-sample annualized return 42.69% vs S&P 23.55%, Calmar 1.16. Regime-switching plus hedges target upside with risk controls—though drawdowns can exceed SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
