A weekly offense/defense plan. If a fear gauge spikes, hide in a strong‑dollar fund. Otherwise, use TIP’s trend to choose: offense = top‑trending big US stocks; defense = top‑trending bonds, dollar, and commodity plays. Simple rules, equal weights.

Each week the plan asks 3 questions: 1) Did fear just spike? If a fear-tracking ETF jumps sharply, move to a US‑dollar fund (USDU). 2) Are inflation‑protected Treasuries (TIP) rising over ~3 months? If yes, go “offense.” If not, go “defense.” Offense: hold the strongest big US stocks. Defense: hold the strongest mix of bond, dollar, and commodity picks.
