This strategy checks the market once a week and asks 3 questions: 1) Is fear suddenly spiking? If yes, it hides in USDU, a fund that benefits from a strong U.S. dollar. 2) If not, is the bond market acting healthy? If yes, it buys the strongest big U.S. stocks from groups similar to the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow. 3) If not, it shifts defensively into the strongest commodity-related investments and bond trades.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
