About

A tactical, wheat‑first strategy: own WEAT when it’s winning and trending, trim it when it runs hot, and otherwise trade S&P/Nasdaq long or short (or hold short‑term Treasuries). The “trimmed” piece rotates into recent winners like gold, commodities, and Treasuries.
NutHow it works
First it asks: has wheat (WEAT) beaten the S&P 500 (SPY) over the last 6–36 months? If yes and WEAT is trending up, it buys WEAT. If WEAT looks overheated (RSI—an up/down “speedometer”—above 70), it scales down to 67% or 33% WEAT and puts the rest in the top 4 of gold/commodities/energy/treasuries/defensive sectors. If wheat is weak or not leading, it runs an S&P/Nasdaq swing-trade that can go long, short, or sit in short-term Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Strong risk control with solid risk-adjusted edge. A wheat-first strategy trims WEAT when overheated, rotates to defensives and tactical overlays. Lower drawdown (15.8% vs 18.8% SPY) and robust Calmar, with competitive Sharpe vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
