About

A fast, rules-based swing strategy centered on semiconductors and big tech. It buys sharp pullbacks when bonds say “risk-on,” fades overheated surges with hedges or volatility (UVXY), and parks in T‑bills/bonds or flips short when stress rises.
NutHow it works
Plain English: it’s a rules playbook for big tech/semis swings. RSI = a 0–100 “heat meter” of recent buying vs. selling (low = washed out, high = overheated). 1) Panic override: if volatility (UVXY) spikes, hold UVXY briefly. 2) Use bonds (T‑bills vs longer Treasuries) to choose risk‑on/off. 3) Buy dips in semis/tech (SOXL, TQQQ) when heat is low and bonds agree; else sit in T‑bills (BIL/SHV). 4) When overheated, rotate to hedges (SQQQ/SOXS) or UVXY. 5) If losses build, switch to defense baskets until trends improve.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this regime-switching tech/semis strategy targets ~17.3% annualized returns with hedging and bond signals, offering upside and diversification versus the S&P 500—at the cost of larger drawdowns in stress (up to ~55%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
