This strategy first asks: “Are bonds acting better than a bet against bonds over the last 10 days?” If yes, it goes risk-on and splits money between JEPI (a calmer, income-focused stock fund) and HIBL (a very aggressive fund that magnifies moves in high-volatility S&P 500 stocks). If no, it turns defensive and splits money between two hedge buckets, each choosing the one that has fallen more recently: BTAL or UGL, and DBMF or PST.
